John Galliano lives up to our expectations with this new collection that blends cultures from a range of different eras.
The designer took inspiration from the worlds of Balkan folklore, Russian tsars and Turkish sultans to create gold brooches, drapes and prints on a variety of garments.
Big yak coats in stone gray and ocre tones caught everyone's eye on a catwalk covered in silver glitter. Galliano brings us surrealistic variations of the classic tailored suit, with majestic and mystic touches.
The hats and crowns made of feathers and hair were the leit motif of the whole show.
Last of all were the ultra-light dresses made of silk and gauze, which closed the show on a ethereal flow of movement.
