Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton chose to go along with the all-bees theme while adding a high dose of glamor to the brand's spring 20123 accessories. Check out the result! Like her mentor, designer Sarah Burton chose to keep up the edgy signature of the Alexander McQueen label by playing with innovative prints and patterns this spring 2013 season and the innovative designs couldn't have been better underlined than through the use of chic, edgy and unique looking accessories. The brand has always impacted the fashion scene using bold patterns and fierce lines and although Sarah Burton has infused a little bit of femininity into the designs since she was appointed creative director, the essence of the brand is still well preserved.
As far as accessories go, Alexander McQueen's spring 2013 shoes, bags and jewelry followed closely into the steps of the theme chosen for the collection. Everything about bees inspired the designs and the accessories, so obviously stunning bee applications, honeycomb motifs, beekeeper’s veil patterns dominated the accessories that completed the designs.
The extravagant shoes created seem to display a certain dose of sexiness brought through modernist designs, clear soles filled with colored beads and honeycomb details. A pair of thigh high boots stole the spotlight through their fierceness and 'cheekiness', so be warned that these shoes will make jaws drop from first sight.

Color palette was mostly based on black, white and some grays with a flash of lavender and baby blue, here and there.
Sarah Burton’s couture-level tailoring was prominent in fitted wool jackets trimmed in fur, tiny zippers running vertically around a skirt hem, spray-on leather leggings beneath skirts and dresses with bodices crafted entirely from mosaics of broken bone china plates.
Fur was prominent in drop-waist halterneck dress and the hood of a sleeveless sheath. Models grabbed attention in their colorless faces and small, metal-covered heads and Lace-up platform booties.
Rounding up the show were Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 evening gowns that came in white looking as pure as snow and in black flaunting sexier side. On the whole, Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 runway show was all about intricate tailoring and dreamy dresses and gown, apt for royal wedding.
