This fall, Alexander Wang brings us deconstructed garments as a central theme in his new line. The New York designer also created garments based on Edwardian tailoring and his famed urban look. Today we're going to reveal his ad campaign and the must-have garments in the new line.
Wang said that the collection is the meeting-point of a young Berlin look and a belle de jour style. He wanted to blend a Wall Street banker look with that of his stereotypical target market - cool urban girls.
The designer has reinvented his casual urban style with a unique use of tailoring.
Abbey Lee Kershaw is his new muse, as you can see from this photo-shoot and video, which was created by Craig McDean in an abandoned building in New York. The art direction is the work of Fabien Baron, who worked with stylist Karl Templer.
